This painting is an intuitive artwork about the internal, emotional journey of the 2020 pandemic, the frustration with the world, sadness and vulnerability, and letting go of things yet feeling supported and creatively optimistic on a soul level. It’s about moving forward and learning, embracing change, redefining myself against perceived and real limitations. I painted it as a reminder to be gentle with myself.
