A quick walk-through of my painting process. When you only see the finished piece, it’s hard to imagine how it got there. The opening stages are always surprisingly rough. Here’s a new work, from the feeling and pencil sketch to finished creation.
The annual Royal Academy Summer Exhibition is a celebration of living artists, with art by members of the public and famous artists hanging side-by-side. This year I was lucky enough to have a painting selected for inclusion in the show. What a great experience.
