The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2021

The theme for 2021 was “Reclaiming Magic,” and the exhibition was curated by Yinka Shonibare. My painting, Horae, Goddess of Summer, was selected by Humphrey Ocean and displayed in the second gallery, just below a cheerful 3D piece by comedian Harry Hill.

Vor Kunst, Van Der Plas Gallery, New York, 2020 & 2021

"Vor Kunst" will bring together works from over 50 artists. The show will explore postmodern concepts of art, meditating on Hegel's ideas of "Vorkunst," or pre-art. It will challenge notions of what "proper art" is and how we can break free of these limitations and constraints. The show will look at how we can expand upon and move past ideas of what is deemed proper or acceptable in the art world today.

Shortlisted for King House Fine Art’s 2020 Competition and Exhibition

“There are no doubts that 2020 has been one of the most difficult years in recent times. From forest fires and social/racial clashes to a global pandemic that claimed over a million lives worldwide, caused economic recession and put many countries under restrictive lockdown measures, 2020 will certainly go to history as a year for humanity to remember.”
